Good Morning Mix: Charlotte de Witte brings techno to Lisbon’s iconic Castelo de São Jorge

The queen of techno has taken to a handful of eye-catching locations in just the past couple of years, streaming everywhere from Italy’s Mugello Circuit to Greece’s Ancient Messene to her own terrance in Ghent, Belgium. And after making history as both the first woman and techno artist to shut down Tomorrowland’s mainstage this past July, Charlotte de Witte placed a set of decks atop Lisbon’s iconic Castelo de São Jorge for an hour-long stream.

Fresh off the release of her new Apollo EP, the KNTXT label boss brought just over 60 minutes of kinetic techno to the Portuguese capital. Charlotte de Witte journeys through 13 total tracks, including a couple of forenamed EP cuts like “PPC” and “Missing Channel” as well as music from her Universal Consciousness EP plus selections from Indira Paganotto, WNDRLST, and more.
