RayRay and JVNA Team Up for the Emotive but Hard-Hitting “Butterfly”
RayRay teams up with JVNA for a stunning collaboration “Butterfly.” Originally hailing from Taiwan RayRay and US-born Taiwanese JVNA make for a union of two talented producers. The single showcases both artists’ talents perfectly, from JVNA’s and RayRay’s dreamy vocal performances to their future bass and melodic trap production prowess.
Opening with sultry, breathy vocals and an ominous bassline, “Butterfly” starts with an ethereal vibe that blossoms into a drop of serrating synths and deep bass bumps. The mixture of feminine emotiveness and unquestionable sonic confidentiality makes the track an unusual but delightful potion of where the lyrics sung in both English and Mandarin. RayRay and JVNA’s collaboration is out now on Yellow Claw’s Barong Family imprint and will also be featured on RayRay’s forthcoming debut album “Unearthly World.”
