Kx5 lead into LA Memorial Coliseum show with Elderbrook-featured single, ‘When I Talk’

With just over 24 hours until Kx5 head to Los Angeles for their first-ever headlining show, Kaskade and deadmau5 have decided to treat everyone to yet another album single. Out now via mau5trap and Arkade, “When I Talk” marks Kaskade and deadmau5’s fifth single under the collaborative Kx5 banner, with the two joining forces alongside the talents of producer and singer-songwriter, Elderbrook.

“When I Talk” comes as what might be Kx5’s most delicately crafted output since “Escape” with Hayla. Bringing in Elderbrook for more than just his vocal assistant, Kx5 recruited one of dance music’s most unique acts who adds the perfect melodic touch to anything he comes across. “When I Talk” moves away from the recent acid-techno approach from “Avalanche” and the melodic-techno tone of “Alive,” heading back towards progressive deep house with a euphoric hue. And Kx5’s latest is the final cherry on top before they take over the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum with John Summit and Anna Lunoe, where “When I Talk” will likely be heard live for the first time in front of thousands.
