STAR SEED, Fancy Monster open NIGHTMODE’s forthcoming compilation with ‘Bleeding Out’

STAR SEED and Fancy Monster have come together for the first time to lead off NIGHTMODE‘s upcoming compilation. “Bleeding Out” had been teased earlier in the year and now evolves into the label’s 10-track release NIGHT DRIVE, which they promise to be “curated for those late nights where all you want to do is vibe.” And based on a teaser of the full compilation, NIGHT DRIVE will see the label lean closely into melodic house, serving as a new creative outlet for a label that has routinely boasted releases from heavy-hitters like ISOxo, Knock2, Juelz, and KILL SCRIPT to name a few.

The compilation-opening single from the Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2022 and Fancy Monster comes as a haunting melodic house track in which the respective duos tap into their love for nature and appreciation for organic sounds with evergreen vocals. “Bleeding Out” includes a chilling topline that’s perfectly paired with dark, melancholic undertones that are cleverly disguised amid the track’s airy atmospherics.

STAR SEED are on the heels of back-to-back dates in support of Yultron in Southern California and are set to embark on Groove Cruise Miami 2023 in January. On the release front, “Bleeding Out” follows their euphoric Proximity-backed single “Divine Intervention” with Hildur Ottilia that landed in November. “Bleeding Out” signals welcome return to the label that hosted them at their art car takeover at this year’s EDC Las Vegas, turning into their third release on NIGHTMODE after 2021 originals “I’m Outside” and “Reasons.” Listen to STAR SEED and Fancy Monster’s “Bleeding Out” below.
