Lastlings recruit Vintage Culture for melodic techno treatment of ‘Get What You Want’

In October, Lastlings instated their post-First Contact era with their first original in two years. But before the year comes to a close, the Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2021 has given “Get What You Want“—likely the lead single of their sophomore LP—its first update. And they tapped none other than Vintage Culture, who puts the finishing touches on his calendar with a melodic-techno rework of the Aussie brother-sister duo’s comeback release.

Vintage Culture takes another lyrically driven melody and converts it into a club weapon, giving “Get What You Want” a dose of his unique progressive twist with a touch of melodic-techno synths. Amy Dowdle’s vocals sit over it all for a crossover that can effortlessly migrate between the live and underground scenes. And after maintaining packed nights at Hï Ibiza all summer long, Vintage Culture now stacks this latest deep remix to his already colossal arsenal of tracks in 2022.
