Gorgon City get grimey with ‘Sidewindah’ B-side, ‘Rumblah’

Known for their sumptous vocal house melodies, Gorgon City have been on a tear with their recent transition to the more underground dwellings of house music. Building upon the recent successes of “Sidewindah” and “Foggy Geezer,” Gorgon City has induced their latest iteration of grimey, deep house with “Rumblah.” Out now via their own Realm Records, “Rumblah” is the B-side to their last original, providing another weapon ready to wreak havoc on their late club nights and deepening their catalogue for the upcoming Ibiza club season.

“Rumblah” harkens back to core four-on-the-floor memories and recreates the sound that brought Gorgon City into the house music genre. The cut invokes the drum n’ bass, grime, and garage permeating the British rave scene. Using a heavy and jungle-esque bassline, “Rumblah” sends a rolling sensation through your spine. With a new album in the works, Gorgon City are likely to continue on this nostalgic, back-to-basics path. Stream “Rumblah” below.
