ATB teams up with Au/Ra and York on new single ‘Highs and Lows’
German dance music legend ATB follows up his recent hits “Your Love (9pm)” and “Like That” with a fresh new single entitled ‘Highs and Lows.’
Sometimes you’ve got to look to the past to see the future and that’s exactly what’s happened with the creation of this single. Nearly 25 years ago, ATB and York first collaborated on 1999’s “Fields of Love.” Now they’re back at it, but this time with talented singer-songwriter Au/Ra along for the ride.
“High and Lows” is a vocally led stunner thanks to Au/Ra’s talents. She’s the captain here, steering the ship that ARB and York built on a sea of soaring synths. Another expertly crafted output from one of electronic music’s most talented producers, “High and Lows” bounces and buzzes amidst a dance pop haze. It’s another certifiable earworm from the German legend who changed the landscape of electronic music with “9pm (Till I Come)” back in 1998.
