Volaris adds Purified Records to growing label list with double-sided EP, ‘Aqua’

Volaris is continuing to rack up the labels listed on his expanding discography. Just over a month earlier, the Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2023 following a Printworks opening slot for deadmau5 and Kaskade by adding mau5trap to his label connections, a list that had already included the likes of John Summit’s Off The Grid Records and Armada. And Volaris is extending the previously teased streak of “monthly releases all the way up to July on [his] favourite labels” with a double-sided debut on Nora En Pure‘s Purified Records.

For those that had experienced a set from the melodic deep house queen across the past year, the EP’s title number may been one of numerous IDs to leave Shazam guessing. And Aqua arrives just over a week removed from another first for Volaris, with him making his first-ever trip to Miami Music Week where he had the opportunity to play both the EP’s A-side title track and its B-side. Both “Aqua” and “Sphere” see Volaris make yet another warm welcome on another one of dance music’s most respected imprints, with him serving out a pair of distinctive, crisp, and progressive-laden cuts that simultaneously progress his production character and defend his placement in our forenamed list for the nth time in the first three months of 2023.
