CamelPhat, London Grammar’s ‘Higher’ takes music to new levels

Following their club-driven Your Mind EP, CamelPhat have now shared consecutive vocal-driven melodic singles. Shifting back to their roots of melodic and progressive house, “Higher” marks CamelPhat’s first-ever collaboration with English pop band, London Grammar. An inspiration for CamelPhat’s highly coveted Dark Matter album, “Higher” has been a long time coming after CamelPhat remixed London Grammar’s single “Lose Your Head” back in 2020. As a bonus to the single, London Grammar has set free an official compilation of previously shared remixes and a handful of new reworkings from Jamie Jones, Joris Voorn, and Dot Major.

Released by Ministry of Sound, “Higher” is CamelPhat’s first single of the year to land on a label outside of their very own, When Stars Align. Vocally guided by London Grammar’s lead singer Hannah Reid, “Higher” easily transfers her pop background towards a melodic dance anthem. First premiered at CamelPhat’s headline show at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, the new record offers up a transition between the duo’s well-known singles and their underground focused IDs. Arriving just in time for CamelPhat’s upcoming Tomorrowland appearance, stream “Higher” below.
