INZO delivers biggest project to date with genre-bending EP on Lowly, ‘Earth Magic’
INZO‘s most innovative, boundary-pushing body of work to date has arrived in the form of his Earth Magic EP. The genre-bending artist has risen to prominence behind the strength of his unique brand of bass music and his latest sonic outlet only further pushes that narrative. INZO calls the EP “an expression of me” and it continues a new direction he’s been pursuing with his sound throughout the rollout of his biggest project to date. In speaking on the EP, INZO explained,
“The inspiration for Earth Magic comes from anything and everything in nature. I drew inspiration from traveling the world experiencing their different textures and trying to translate that beauty into sounds I enjoy.”
One of the project’s highlights “Floating” is quintessential INZO and features soundscapes that will surely be welcomed by fans new and old. “Tripitaka” with Blookah sees INZO lean back into his trap and bass roots. “Solstice” was the EP’s final single and draws inspiration from M83’s Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming. December’s “Drift Like A Cloud, Flow Like Water” is the spiritual successor to INZO’s biggest track to date, “Overthinker,” It’s an uplifting, inspirational, and motivational bass track that features a stunning sample from famed-writer Alan Watts. The EP’s lead single, “Earth Magic”, features Elohim and kicked off the new direction for INZO’s sound marked by the more quiet introspective areas of his range. ‘Earth Magic’ is his first EP since 2019’s ‘Multiverse’.
