Knock2 brings ‘ROOM202’ full circle with remixes from Wolfgang Gartner, Mord Fustang
Knock2 explained that when he made ROOM202, the inspiration behind it was the early 2010s era of dance music that made him fall in love with the genre. Eight months after turning in his sophomore EP and just a month removed from announcing the second leg of his EP’s coinciding tour, Dancing Astronaut‘s co-2022 Breakout Artist of the Year has renewed part of the six-track EP that landed on Nightmode back in January.
And Knock2 paid direct homage back to the heart and soul of ROOM202, recruiting both Wolfgang Gartner and Mord Fustang for a pair of reworks from a pair of artists that truly encapsulated that period of electro house. Gartner puts his own spin on “REWiND” while Fustang reimagines “Are U Feelin Me” with Dev, allowing Knock2 to bring the EP’s narrative full circle. Stream both remixes below.
