Jiqui makes EP debut on Sounds Of Mayhem with ‘DEATH OF THE HERO’
Delivering a unique blend of metal vocals and electronic music, Jiqui has dropped his latest EP DEATH OF THE HERO via PhaseOne‘s Sounds Of Mayhem. The DEATH OF A HERO EP follows the single release of “SOUL SHRED,” which was Jiqui’s last release on Sounds Of Mayhem. Spanning several genres, the EP pushes the envelope of what dubstep producers can create and expands the horizon for future releases.
Speaking on the “DEATH OF THE HERO” EP, Jiqui detailed his excitement for the EP and working with PhaseOne, saying,
“Death of the hero is a release I’m super stoked about because of the variety of styles the EP showcases.”When Graeme (PhaseOne) told me he was starting a label and asked if I wanted to be a part of it, it was a no brainer for me to say yes. He has always been a big supporter of my project and I couldn’t be happier with how this release turned out.”
The EP is comprised of four skull-splitting tracks, “ANTIHERO” with Vastive, “STENCH MONSTER,” “SOUL SHRED” with Qoiet and “POP ROCKS.” Full of energy and rage from start to finish, the EP is the next chapter in Jiqui’s vision for his project. With Jiqui’s upcoming performance at Lost Lands and a variety of performances across the United States, one can expect to hear much of the EP and other unreleased tunes.
