Vanic delivers new three-track EP on Kannibalen Records, ‘Sold My Soul’
Bringing his signature massive chord structures and harmonies to a new EP, Vanic has delivered his Sold My Soul EP via Kannibalen Records. Coming off the release of the single “Sacrifice,” the EP contains three envelope-pushing tracks which both further Vanic’s discography and establish a new era of the artist’s career.
Speaking on the “Sold My Soul” EP, Vanc broke down the inspiration behind the EP, saying,
“Lately I’ve become a lot more spiritual. I’ve started to believe that this life is like a wisp of wind, and it won’t matter how much money and success you had, but rather what you did and how you did it. I think the worst thing you could do is sell your soul to get ahead. This EP is like a reflection of those thoughts.”
The Sold My Soul EP is Vanic’s first multi-track release since his album in 2021, Here & Now. The EP contains two collaborations, “Sacrifice” with Holy Wars and “Echoes” with WISNER, and also contains the title track. Incorporating breathtaking sound design with stunning instrumentals and vocals, the EP scratches an itch that only tracks imbued with a technical command of music theory can provide. With several exciting announcements on the horizon, the EP is hardly the last thing to come from Vanic in 2023.
