FelMax, VLCN, and BLUPILL join forces for ‘Rail Split’
Melding their collective sounds into a bass-infused banger, Felmax—one of Dancing Astronaut’s Artists to Watch in 2024—VLCN and BLUPILL have created “Rail Split,” available now for streaming on all platforms via Galactic Recordings/Create Music Group. With all three artists known for their contributions to the dubstep scene, the collab was inevitable and it’s raucously heavy.
Each artist spoke on the collab, with VLCN saying that he “met Felmax a few years back and was always a fan of his production. [They] finally got a chance to work on a song together, and pulling in BLUPILL was the icing on the cake. This one is insane for crowd reactions.”
Felmax detailed the process behind the track, saying that “VLCN was a genius in bringing in BLUPILL, as he elevated the record tenfold! ‘Rail Split’ is the culmination of our three sounds working together cohesively to bring you a certified rail breaker. Truly excited for this one to be out finally!”
Last but not least, BLUPILL detailed the meaning of the song, saying that “everybody has anger inside… LET IT OUT! We too often bottle our emotions, and it leads to a worse mental state. RELEASE WHAT IS NOT FOR YOU! Let this song be that release for you.”
With support on the track from Excision, LAYZ, Jessica Audiffred and many more, “Rail Split” has split rails all across the country, and is at long last available for the public. Having combined the sound of Felmax, VLCN and BLUPILL, “Rail Split” is not for the faint of heart and is bound to tear apart sound systems wherever it’s played.
