CruxDecussata, a blockchain project with the ticker $X (CRUX), released a music video four months ago that gained over 1.2 million views, becoming one of the most-watched in the blockchain industry. Featuring key opinion leader Herbert Sim (‘Bitcoin Man’), actress Valeriia Karaman, and DJ Nicole Chen, the video received coverage from Billboard, WWD, and GQ.

The project recently introduced ‘XMessenger,’ a communication app emphasizing privacy with non-KYC login, encrypted messaging, and untraceable cryptocurrency transfers. These features establish XMessenger as a secure platform for confidential communication and financial transactions, challenging current industry apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, WeChat, KakaoTalk, and LINE.

XMessenger also rewards $X token holders with additional functions and a share in platform revenue. The app charges a 0.5 to 1% fee on $X transactions, distributing it monthly for buyback and burn of $X tokens, revenue share, and operations.

Herbert Sim, lead investor of CruxDecussata, emphasizes the growing demand for privacy and how XMessenger addresses that need. The project’s founder, known as ‘The Dev’ or ‘CP33,’ maintains an anonymous persona, identifying as a Cypherpunk. The project’s symbol, ☓, represents Saint Andrew’s cross, also known as Crux Decussata.

The Dev, an early advocate of the Cypherpunk movement, purchased the domain ☓.com from Herbert Sim in July 2023 and launched the project in August 2023. Distinguishing it from Twitter’s X.com, ☓ symbolizes Crux Decussata.

CruxDecussata’s origin aligns with the Cypherpunk movement, which championed privacy and decentralization. Notably, Satoshi Nakamoto, the founder of Bitcoin, and the owner of X.com are also associated with Cypherpunk ideology.

The project stealthily launched on Ethereum (ERC20 blockchain), with the domain xn--33h.com redirecting to its main site. The Dev announced on Etherscan that 66.6% of sales proceeds would go to project stakeholders on August 4, 2023.
