Nate Mars is following up November 23’s ‘In Time’ EP with a trio of remixes and an all new original pulsing with garage and DnB. At the core of Mars’ music lies the unmistakable pulse of the TB-303, which he skillfully intertwines with an array of analog hardware, looped vocals, and a dark pop touch. For In Time, Mars decided to return to his roots, chopping classic drum breaks and incorporating rave stabs and ’90s piano riffs reminiscent of iconic artists like Moby, The Prodigy, Omni Trio, DJ Krust, and 4am Kru. And on its remix package three new interpretations build on the original EP’s strong foundation.

Liondub kicks off the remix package with a reimagined version of “In Time,” introducing a fluid drum and bass vibe that enriches the original’s essence. Tim Reaper brings his expertise to the “Starting Over” remix, underlining his knack for jungle and breakbeat hardcore. As the mind behind Future Retro London and a Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe nominee, Reaper’s remix is a masterclass in drum and breaks.

Straight out of Philadelphia, Starkey’s take on “To Kill A DJ” infuses the track with a mix of dub/reggae and UKG, bridging Nate Mars’ original vision with his own distinctive, dystopian flair. Philadelphia’s own PJ Geissinger, known as Starkey, has been lauded for his genre-defying music since 2005, with notable releases like “Open The Pod Bay Doors” on Ninja Tune.

And then there’s the cherry on top; a new one from the man himself – “Parallelogram” a testament to his adeptness and alacrity crafting blistering drum and bass.
