Dancing Astronaut presents Jus Jack and Project 46 at LAVO NYC for New York Fashion Week
New York Fashion Week takes over the Big Apple from February 6th to February 13th, bringing with it a host of parties that feature a nearly endless wave of DJs and fashionistas. On February 8th, Dancing Astronaut has teamed up with LAVO NYC to bring Project 46 and Jus Jack to one of Manhattan's most pre-eminent nightlife destinations. Providing the opening soundtrack for the evening is New York City native Jus Jack, a rising talent that cemented himself as one to watch in 2014 with an appearance on Tiƫsto's Musical Freedom Future Stars compilation with his original hit "Stars." Canadian duo Project 46 have been making big waves alongside Laidback Luke on their collaboration "Collide," an output that followed another high-profile pairing with Kaskade for "Last Chance." Boasting a club-ready and dance-focused style from both bookings on the bill, LAVO NYC's February 8th Fashion Week Party is one any Manhattanite would be foolish to miss.
The Chainsmokers release official video for #SELFIE
The Chainsmokers first topped the Hype Machine Popular Chart over a year ago, and it seems like each of their remixes since then have followed suit. As their productions thrived and their fan base grew, Alex and Drew toured relentlessly, playing clubs and festivals all over the world. Given how enormous 2013 was for the guys, it's easy to forget that they hadn't released any original material in more than a year.
Dancing Astronaut presents Axis episode 093: Mixed by DVBBS
Our neighbors to the North invade the Axis airwaves for the 93rd edition of Dancing Astronaut Axis. The powerhouse duo, DVBBS show up, guns and greens blazing, on their hour long addition to our podcast. The perfect pre-game mix to whatever mischief you're getting into tonight, the "Tsunami" producers don't waste a single second before twisting together 19 of the bounciest and most frantic electro house cuts they could get their hands on. The track list is definitely better suited for the festival tents, not your tiny apartment -- but that's all the more reason to turn it up to 11. No playlist on this one. It ruins the fun.
