Coachella 2013 lineup officially announced with Nicky Romero, Hardwell, Wolfgang Gartner, Luciano, and more
The Coachella 2013 lineup has officially been announced, but sadly Daft Punk is not on the bill. As it turns out those leaks were just as we suspected - more rumors. Despite our disappointment, we are still blown away by this year's lineup. There's Bassnectar and Infected Mushroom, Nicky Romero and Wolfgang Gartner, Luciano, Seth Troxler, and Jamie XX and more - oh yeah, thats just Friday. Coachella's entire electronic music lineup is all killer no filler - even the groundbreaking duo out of Britain, Disclosure, is making an appearance.
Luciano’s NYD set stuns Brooklyn crowd, sets bar high for rest of 2013
The underground world in New York was chock full of choices for New Year's Eve -- Lee Burridge and Moby, Wolf + Lamb, Soul Clap, and PillowTalk, Francois K, Pat Mahoney, or Steve Lawler and Carlo Lio (to name a few) were all in town for the big night. None of these however, garnered more of a flurry of interest and excitement than the announcement that Luciano and a trusty crew of beatmakers would be throwing a Vagabundos party on New Year's Day.
Luciano and the Vagabundos crew take over Electric Zoo’s Sunday School Grove
Over the years, Made Event -- with its Sunday School moniker -- have built a reputation for throwing some of the craziest parties with impressively elaborate line ups. This year, Luciano returns to the Sunday School Grove -- Vagabundos party in tow. Vagabundos is Luciano’s party brand, which began with his residency at Pacha Ibiza in 2010 and has since made stops all across the globe. He is a true master of crossing the boundaries between techno and house, and his unique style of music is sexy and extravagant enough to get any party going. With music of the finest quality and energy and vibes at profoundly unmatched levels, this occasion is an unmissable one.
More modern swing dance music: Luciano’s live set from Exit festival is now available
If you're like us and your idea of a good time is raving to Luciano's tech house beats in an 18th century fortress, than Exit is the place for you. This two-hour mix find Luciano in an eclectic mood. We get tech house edits of "Somebody That I Used to Know" and "She Drives Me Crazy." There's even a delightfully bizarre remix of Radiohead's "Creep," which Thom Yorke hasn't played in years but Luciano still clearly enjoys.
