Ed Sheeran announced as final headliner at this year’s Glastonbury

Glastonbury, has added its final headliner with English singer-songwriter favorite, Ed Sheeran, who, according to Forbes has just recently become the first musician in history to have nine of the top ten spots on the U.K. singles chart. From Wednesday to Sunday, headliners such as Radiohead, the Foo Fighters, Run the Jewels, The xx, Lorde, and Imagine Dragons will be performing at Glastonbury.

Sheeran took to Instagram and announce to his fans that he will be the headliner to close out the festival on Sunday, June 25. The worldwide pop star is no stranger to Glastonbury. He made his debut performance in 2011 just before releasing his first album and then revisited for a headlining spot in 2014.

Glastonbury marks Ed Sheeran’s only festival headline in 2017; his set will be on at the Pyramid Stage, following performances right from Lorde and The XX.
