Flying Lotus teams David Firth for unsettling short film, ‘Cream’
Multi-talented artist Flying Lotus initially became famous due to his hip-hop inspired electronic music, before delving into visual arts as a filmmaker and director. In one of his most bizarre and disturbing creative undertakings to date, the producer teamed up with mercurial British animator and musician David Firth for a short film titled “Cream.”
The unsettling 12 minute long movie- featuring the voice of Flying Lotus himself- revolves around a cream with miraculous healing power and is apparently a play on current status quo and balance of power in the modern world.
“Cream” is definitely an interesting watch, and is a refreshing new endeavor from Flying Lotus.
