Last night, Kanye West unleashed his forthcoming Yeezus album for an exclusive listening party and delivered a heartwarming speech about his recording process. After speaking on how his sixth studio album came from his gut, Kanye began thanking his collaborators, beginning with Daft Punk.
“The combination of all the people we brought together, from Daft Punk working on three or four tracks on the album,” Kanye thanked the French duo. He continued citing Daft Punk for production on two of the album’s most anticapted records (in addition to “Black Skinhead“) that he’s recently debuted live — “On Site” and “I Am A God.”
Listen to Kanye West’s collaborations with Daft Punk along with his listening party speech below the break.
