While Above & Beyond put the “good” in Good Morning Mix every time they release an episode of Group Therapy, this edition shoots past great and lands on spectacular. With a first ninety minutes even more ebullient than usual kicked off by the trio’s own brand new single “Hello,” Tony, Jono and Paavo deemed supergroup Artificial’s “Stuck In Sa Caleta” the Record of the Week, pushed the button with their acoustic “Satellite / Stealing Time” and flashbacked to Richard Bedford’s silky singing on “Liquid Love” before handing things over to Grum.
Introduced with the proclamation that the Scottish producer is both a celebrated remixer and favorite of Pete Tong, Eric Prydz and A&B themselves, the mix delivered on all counts. The Pryda camp was well represented with three of the ten tracks, second only to Grum’s own work, which consisted of one original, one mashup, and two remixes – one for Shift K3y and the other for Martin Garrix.
