Go behind the scenes of Dillon Francis’s ‘When We Were Young’ music video shoot
Dillon Francis‘ highly anticipated album Money Sucks, Friends Rule dropped last week and the reception has been through the roof as it just soared to #1 on Dance and #5 on overall albums on iTunes. Last week, Dillon released the music video for “When We Were Young” with Sultan & Ned Shepard and Chain Gang of 1974 that depicts Dillon with Sultan & Ned Shepard as three-year-olds at Dillon’s birthday party. Cam from Chain Gang of 1974 plays a mediocre, sadistic clown along with cameos from Instagram star/comedian the Fat Jew and adult film actress Sophie Dee playing Dillon’s mom.
Dillon has released a behind the scenes look at the remaking of his third birthday for the video. Only having a limited time to shoot the video, Francis’s team called upon the help of director Agata Alexandra to envision and execute the juvenile yet hysterical video concept. From throwing temper tantrums to missing the piñata to playing children’s instruments, the backstage view of the shoot makes us wonder what was more hectic: the actual video or the shenanigans that ensued on set.
