Coachella announces 2016 lineup
It’s officially Coachella season. After announcing the reunions of both Guns N’ Roses and LCD Soundsystem as the headlining acts of the 2016 iteration of the festival, it was only a matter of time before the full lineup hit the web. Rumors swirled today that Calvin Harris would be the third official headliner, and the official lineup just confirmed it.
In addition to the three massive acts, Coachella has revealed some heavyweight electronic talent with Major Lazer, Flume, Miike Snow, Zedd, Jack Ü, M83, Disclosure, Underworld and more performing. The lineup is further rounded out with engrossing new acts like Zhu, Bob Moses, Lido, and Tchami.
As always, Goldenvoice has paid particular attention to booking renowned house and techno talent for the Yuma. This year is no exception with Marco Carola, Maceo Plex, Nicole Moudaber, Nina Kraviz, DJ Koze, Dubfire and more on the bill.
Lastly, Coachella has one final surprise on the flyer, with “DESPACIO All Weekend Long,” referring to James Murphy and 2manydjs’ collaborative clubbing experience. Altogether, it’s easily one of favorite Coachella lineups ever.
See you in the desert.
