Kygo to launch Kygo Radio on SiriusXM

Kygo will launch his own limited-run station with Sirius XM to celebrate the release of his debut album Cloud Nine, which is scheduled for release on Friday, May 13.

The channel, Kygo Radio, will feature Kygo’s original tracks as well as songs chosen by the artist himself, including tracks by Thomas Jack, Felix Jaehn, and Klingande. Each day at 6pm EST and PT, the show will feature a different premiere or exclusive: including tracks from Cloud Nine, piano jams from Kygo himself, and various Kygo remixes.

Kygo is over the moon, saying:

“I’m incredibly excited for my own Kygo Radio channel! SiriusXM has had my back ever since day one when I was making remixes in my dorm room at university, and it means a lot that they’re supporting my music as I prepare to release my debut album, Cloud Nine. I’ll be playing some of my favorite tracks from both the past and present, and most of all, I’m looking forward to playing brand new music from Cloud Nine. I can also promise a few surprises thrown in along the way, so tune in!”

Sirius XM’s Chill station was the first to play Kygo, when he was an unsigned artist. They then named him as one of their “Breakthrough Artists of the Year” in 2015.

Kygo Radio will launch Monday, May 9, and air until Friday, May 20, via channel 53 on satellite radio, and through Sirius XM apps and online. May 15 at 6:00pm, the Kygo Radio Album release party will air.
