Deadmau5’s gorgeous home studio is finally complete
After much ado, Deadmau5‘s new production studio has finally been finished and revealed. Martin Pilchner of Pilchner Schoustal International Inc. posted photographs of the completed design along with the space’s specs on the company’s website.
The studio was originally the master bedroom of the producer’s new home in Campbellville, Ontario but has since undergone a lengthy and dramatic retrofit to accommodate studio work and recording. The result is a warm and clean design with a central throne for the man himself to helm.
The light-filled space features walnut fins and reflective, geometric organization with custom racking to hold various synthesizers from Deadmau5’s collection. The main sound system is organized around two flush mounted ATC 300 speakers with a series of ATC 25 ceiling speakers. The room also incorporates a 5.1 and 7.1 mid field surround system as well as an 11.3 Dolby Atmos system.
Along with hopefully great new music, fans can expect more live streaming from the lair via Deadmau5’s Live portal. More photos and information about this jaw-dropping project are available at the Pilchner Schoustal website.
