Watch Jimmy Fallon and Chris Rock make fun of Kill The Noise & Dillon Francis
On The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon has a recurring segment called “Do Not Play List,” in which he invites his show guests to listen to songs with him. These are songs that are considered terrible — or at least not easily-consumed by the masses — and watching the guests’ reactions is always entertaining. Bringing someone as expressive as comedian/actor Chris Rock onto the show for this was sure elicit some great reactions, and he didn’t let his audience down.
The first song Fallon picked was Kill The Noise and Dillon Francis‘ “Dolphin on Wheels,” which came out in September 2015. They examine the album cover art before they take a listen, which features a dolphin on a hoverboard, cups of what Rock emphatically declares are filled with sizzurp, and cutouts of the producers’ faces.
Rock begins scowling as soon as the build begins, and when it drops, he just looks flat-out confused. Rock’s reaction? “It sounds like a dolphin on crack!”
Kill The Noise, at least, had a good laugh at the segment, posting his reaction — complete with chuckles at Rock’s commentary — on Instagram.
