Seemingly out of nowhere, counsel pop bursts onto the scene with a massive Mad Zoo release, “fazeley industrial estate.”
Though brief at two minutes and 40 seconds, the Canadian artist’s debut release flexes his well-developed production skills in a feisty big beat-inspired tune. “Fazeley industrial estate” is a concise, energy-packed expedition that lets in a momentary glimpse of what we can expect from the mysterious producer down the road in his forthcoming inaugural EP.
“The music is inspired by trying to recreate that feeling of driving around in your mate’s car listening to the only dance CD they ever had,” counsel pop says. “Or, hanging around outside SPAR listening to old dance tunes, surrounded by the grey of the estate and shite weather.”
