Exclusive: Axmod – Talk ft DiRTY RADiO
Just in time for summer, French producer Axmod unveils his latest single, “Talk.” A collaborative effort with DiRTY RADiO, “Talk” has a palpable energy that primes it to be a staple of festival season.
Speaking of the track, Axmod had DiRTY RADiO in mind from its earliest moments,
“I first found out about DiRTY RADiO when I heard their track with Young Franco “Drop Your Love” back in 2016. When I was composing “Talk”, I reached out to them for a top line as I thought they’d be the perfect fit, and fortunately we got along really well. Soon enough I got the vocals back and I couldn’t have been happier with them. The single is a little different to the ‘Brooke’ EP I released last year, but I’m really pleased with how it turned out and I think it’s a great one for summer – I hope everybody likes it!”
The single marks a shift in direction for Axmod after his well-received EP Brooke, opting to meld an upbeat energy and some disco overtones into his house-centric style. Propelled by a kinetic bassline, “Talk’s” groove and singalong vocals make for the ideal of a smooth summer jam.
