Space Jesus and Esseks reunite for trippy new track, ‘Professor Genius’
Space Jesus has had himself a busy summer, laying down multiple sets at Electric Forest, Camp Bisco, and a host of other festivals. Coming in hot with a release for the second half of the summer, Space Jesus has teamed up with past collaborator Esseks for their new heavy-hitting track, “Professor Genius.” It gives credence to the notion that he’s one of the most creative purveyors of bass music today.
Out on Deadbeats, Space Jesus and Esseks pair an ominous vocal sample with a simple build, before the track drops into a deep, explosive growl that raises neck hairs. Sharply designed vocal stabs and psychedelic samples make this short track an exhilarating ride from start to finish. A bass-heavy offering typical of these two producers, this track is expected to destroy festival crowds and at-home listeners alike.
