Muse announce their new full-length, ‘Simulation Theory,’ along with four new songs from the album

Muse announced their new album, Simulation Theory, will be released 9 November 2018 via Warner. Along with the announcement came four new tracks and a music video for “The Dark Side.” The three other tracks are “Something Human,” “Thought Contagion,” and “Dig Down.”

The successor to their 2015 full-length, Drones, exhibits some of the trio’s signature space rock atmosphere with twinkling keyboard sounds, catchy guitar melodies, and sultry vocals. Its cover art was created by Kyle Lambert, who designed the posters for “Stranger Things” and Jurassic Park.

The band are expected to announce 2019 tour dates shortly. Matt Bellamy told New Musical Express, “We’re going to do the biggest tour and just blow people’s minds with stuff they’ve never seen before. We’re going to come up with something that no one’s ever seen before. We’re always interested in the latest technology and what’s cutting edge, so we’re always thinking of the new thing that nobody’s ever used before in a concert. And we found something and we’re going to use that.”
