MATRODA releases heater bass house EP, ‘Unfinished Business’
MATRODA has released his new two-track Unfinished Business EP. Bass house heads rejoice as “H8TERS” has that spine-tingling and ear-piercing low-end-high-end combo that made REZZ‘s “Edge” so popular.
“Kicks,” produced alongside Jace Mek, keeps up with g-house rhythms and percussion-based melody plays. Pay mind to the kick sound, which sounds like it has a detuned balloon rubbing against a leather sofa. Both tracks off the EP have unique sonic harmonies after the drop, creating a space for MATRODA in the bass house scene.
The 23 year-old Croatian-raised house producer has been busy this month. Aside from the Unfinished Business project, he’s also released a single with Dillon Nathaniel, “No Doubt,” off Tchami‘s CONFESSION imprint, along with an official remix to Malaa‘s “Bling Bling.” He’s known for releasing popular edits that combine rap and bass house edits such as one for Childish Gambino‘s “This Is America” and Migos’ “Bad And Boujee.”
To celebrate the EP, Matroda is embarking on his Unfinished Business North American Tour starting September 22.
