Lady Gaga releases Tchami-produced ‘Stupid Love’ [Stream]

Lady Gaga adopts an interstellar aesthetic in the official music video for her newly arrived single, “Stupid Love.” Clad in a spacey, neon pink costume completed by a Rapunzel-style wig, Gaga struts in a desert, surrounded by her extraterrestrial comrades as she delivers the song’s lyrics in her signature avant-garde fashion.

“Stupid Love” is the confidently assertive debut single from Gaga’s forthcoming but currently untitled next studio album, and, however surprisingly, gets a creative assist from Tchami. The CONFESSION label head is credited for not only producing “Stupid Love,” but also other cuts from the LP, Gaga confirmed in a recent interview with Zane Lowe via Apple Music. Max Martin and BloodPop also had a hand in the project’s production, which was recorded largely in Gaga’s home studio.
