Justin Martin further initiates his newly minted imprint, What To Do, into the electronic space with its sophomore release, “Stay.” The Dalilah-assisted single exemplifies Martin’s ear for fresh house sound: the producer suspends Dalilah’s airy vocal atop an elastic bassline that stretches across “Stay,” intertwining its deep reverb with wonky synth work.

In meshing the slinky texture of Dalilah’s sung contribution with the song’s gravelly electronic accoutrements, Justin Martin concocts and subsequently commands a house style that is uniquely his own. “Stay” succeeds What To Do’s inaugural offering, “Needs.”
