AXIS 212 – Mixed by Slow Magic

There’s a bright, masked crusader providing euphoric beats to a pandemic-stricken world and he goes by the name of Slow Magic. Following collaborations with Moving Castle resident Manila Killa and Shallou, the genre-bending producer released his 2020 EP, Closer 2 U, and has since continued to keep fans moving with bedroom DJ sets and Twitch features alike.

Now, Magic is the latest guest on Dancing Astronaut’s AXIS mix series, delivering just over 60 minutes of futuristic goodness for episode 212. Leading off with an emotive EP track “Heartbeat / Helicopter,” Magic breaks it down into some rare beats from Clams Casino, yacht club.‘s “808s n saw waves,” and Jim-E Stack‘s 2020 single “Note To Self” featuring Empress Of, to name just a few.

Slow Magic also delves into some of his own original discography and edits, including his take on Greyson Chance’s “Bad To Myself.” Stream episode 212 of AXIS below.
