Channel Tres stars alongside Disclosure in ‘Lavender’ video
With five official music videos and a visualizer supporting their recent LP ENERGY already in the rearview, Disclosure have continued their unrelenting pace with yet another visual. This time, Channel Tres takes the lead role in the accompaniment for ENERGY‘s “Lavender.” In the video, Tres strolls through the city in a white convertible looking suave as ever while delivering his smooth vocals over Disclosure’s dance beat. As Tres fans will notice, the visual is reminiscent of his “Topdown” video.
“Lavender” is directed by Harry Israelson, who worked on Toro y Moi’s “Freelance” music video. The “Lavendar” visual most recently follows the visualizer for Disclosure and Common’s collaboration, “Reverie.” “Reverie” was filmed in conjunction with and in support of Masaka Kids Africana, a non-profit organization dedicating to helping Ugandan children who have lost their parents.
