Trivecta morphs genres on new remix of Elysian’s ‘Moonchild’
Having carved a spot at the intersectional landing of melodic bass and trance territories, Trivecta forages forward with his latest testimonial. Taking on supergroup Elysian‘s single, “Moonchild,” the Ophelia Records signee unveils a high-powered remix defined by structurally diverse undertakings and euphoric execution. Trivecta’s remix appears on Elysian’s new remix package for their debut EP Water, alongside a sturdy selection of others from OTIOT, Avoure, boerd, PROFF, and more.
Highlighting Emma Hewitt’s standout vocal performance and the top line melody, Trivecta reconstructs the synth lead into an emotional cascade of laser-like arpeggiation that retains the seraphic qualities of the original. Heavy-hitting bass drops further intensify the piece and serve to showcase the Tampa-based producer’s hybridization expertise, which culminate in a rapid pivot to psytrance.
