NGHTMRE is continuing his melodic concourse with an indulging remix of ILLENIUM‘s “Heavenly Side” featuring Matt Maeson. The crafty rework comes just two weeks after the release of ILLENIUM’s fourth studio album, Fallen Embers, and follows NGHTMRE’s collaboration with Yung Pinch, “Scars,” both of which were released in July.
NGHTMRE’s reconstruction of “Heavenly Side” thoroughly highlights the Gud Vibrations label founder’s cross-genre capabilities as trap-infused hip-hop beats, future bass, and jazzy guitar melodies gives ILLENIUM’s lucid original a breathtaking emotional twist.
