Jon Suarez makes a splash with first release of 2022—stream ‘Social Distortion’
Ask Jon Suarez to describe “Social Distortion,” and he’ll tell you that it’s “very different” from the “vibey house music” that he’s got a penchant for producing and has put out of late. Affirming that “Social Distortion,” his first original of the new calendar year, stands apart from “what people have heard from [him] in the past,” Suarez puts forth a simmering, speaker-filling record with the type of big sound that’ll fill just about any space. “Social Distortion” sees the Long Island-hailing act return to Darklight Recordings following his label debut in May 2021 with “Worry ‘Bout.”
Although some streamers are just getting acquainted with Jon Suarez’s production side, invariably, many will be familiar with his live artistry.
