Hardwell shares inside look at Ultra comeback in first ‘Rebels Never Die’ docuseries episode
10 days after Ultra and it’s still unbelievably surreal to think about the fact that Hardwell is actually back after a near four-year intermission. And while everyone is still attempting to process everything all that’s taken place since the evening of March 27—between his show-stopping Ultra finale to his unexpected sophomore album announce to the delivery of its first pair of bigroom-techno previews—Hardwell has launched a mini-documentary series for Rebels Never Die.
With just under two months until the Revealed Recordings boss picks back up on his album’s international circuit with a stop in Jerusalem, Hardwell has virtually returned to Miami with the series’ first episode. Through two-and-a-half-minutes’ worth of never-before-seen footage—also including an HQ preview of his “Laser Light ID”—Hardwell takes us through the moments that he first touched down in Miami, previewed new Rebels Never Die music in a hotel with Domeno, and shared an incredibly wholesome moment with Adam Russakoff the moment after he closed out Ultra’s Bayfront Park homecoming with debatably the weekend’s single greatest performance.
It remains to be seen what else Hardwell will look to shed light on through his new docuseries, but for now, pause “Broken Mirror” and “Into The Unknown” for a couple of minutes to watch chapter one below.
