Flynninho flexes his production chops on ‘RAGGA’

After fashioning his last single entirely from sounds cut from film trailers, Flynninho is taking a different but commensurately potent approach to his “Sicario Mode” follow-up, “RAGGA.” The robust mid-tempo production is a masterclass in inventive, hard-hitting sound design. Vocal chops intersect with grounding basslines and a steady tempo on a cut that carries powerful percussive presence.

Born out of the Chicago-based producer’s penchant for rock, house, pop-punk, and hip-hop, Flynninho’s kaleidoscopic, subwoofer-primed sound has propelled him to perform alongside a myriad of fellow dance/electronic acts, such as Valentino Khan, RL Grime, BIJOU, and Herobust, among others. With past sets at North Coast Music Festival (2019 and 2021), Spring Awakening Music Festival, and ASTERIA in the rearview and upcoming stints at North Coast and Volleywood, not to mention an appearance in support of WHIPPED CREAM (at one of Lollapalooza’s official aftershows on July 29) in the foreground, Flynninho’s comeup is fast and furious.
