Hardwell takes a ‘ZERO GRAVITY’ ride on surprise release of tenth album single

A surprise Rebels Never Die release is never an unwelcome way to start a Friday. Hardwell‘s sophomore album had been following a bimonthly rollout pattern since “Broken Mirror” and “Into The Unknown” got the ball rolling back in April, but he decided to somehow generate even more excitement before he returns to Tomorrowland for the first time since 2018. After delivering “Reminisce” ahead of his Ultra Europe set exactly a week prior, Hardwell is back to push the Rebels Never Die singles counter into double digits with Ultra ID number ten, “ZERO GRAVITY.”

Bringing back his theme of outer space-named tracks, “ZERO GRAVITY” comes as the second instrumental-only cut from Rebels Never Die following “DOPAMINE.” And it laudably adds a tenth layer to his ever-expanding bigroom-techno maturation, with Hardwell winding up yet another hair-raising journey towards the second drop that he’s planted in every album track thus far. There’s no confirmation just yet on whether or not the album rollout will resume its normal schedule moving forward. Take a ride through “ZERO GRAVITY” below before Hardwell takes Tomorrowland’s mainstage at 4:50 PM E.T. this evening.
