Four Tet steps in for rhythmic remix of Ellie Goulding’s ‘Easy Lover’
To dance music fanatics’ pure delight, Ellie Goulding has just shared Four Tet‘s latest remix of the former’s “Easy Lover,” a collaboration with Big Sean released earlier in 2022. One of the preeminent voices in dance-pop, Goulding has yet to veer for very long from the omnipresent limelight that ensconces the singer. Four Tet’s “Easy Lover” remix immediately takes off with a thumping bass line powdered with Goulding’s hauntingly ethereal vocals. Teasing the track in a Twitter post, Goulding reiterated that she’s kept up with the Four Tet happenings over the years.
This is not the first time the two masters of their craft have come together. They first collided back in 2013 for Four Tet’s remix of Goulding’s “Burn.” More recently, the community has seen them unite for Four Tet’s single “Baby” before taking contemporary dancefloors by storm with their latest.
