NGHTMRE, Snavs, INZO, and RemK take to ‘Annie Nightingale presents’ for Lowly. label takeover

Few in the scene are as revered as Annie Nightingale when it comes to industry taste-making, particularly in trap and bass. She got 2023 off to a fast start with a special label takeover edition of her Annie Nightingale presents show on BBC Radio 1. The two-hour Lowly. guest mix, hosted by NGHTMRE, featured sets from Snavs, INZO, and Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2022 RemK, four artists who have released various productions with Lowly.

NGHTMRE took the reins first with an action-packed set highlighting tracks like “Fall Into Me,” “Trials,” and “Teardrop,” from his debut album DRMVRSE, released last September. NGHTMRE’s mix also featured coveted unreleased cuts like his VIP mix of his Zeds Dead collaboration, “Shady Intentions,” as well as unreleased IDs with Juelz and recently named Dancing Astronaut Breakout Artist of 2022, Knock2.

Danish producer Snavs followed with a high-energy 30 minutes that included fan-favorites from his own catalog, like “Anthem” and “Everything,” as well as a brand new edit of ISOxo and FrostTop‘s “Angels Landing” and ISOxo’s remix of Knock2’s “murdah.” He also played new music from his upcoming EP (“La Guitarra,” “Bloom,” and his bass-heavy closer, “Symptoms”). The mix featured two IDs, including one with serial-collaborator Fabian Mazur, that are rumored for possible release on the forthcoming EP.

Then, INZO brought his unique brand of bass music to the airwaves. The diverse set featured music from LSDREAM, Valentino Khan, Space Laces, and of course, INZO himself. He even played three IDs, including one rumored to be with LSDREAM as a possible follow up to their 2022 hit “BLASTA.” To close, INZO turned to his inspiring new single, “Drift Like A Cloud, Flow Like Water,” which features the wise words of Alan Watts and is set to feature on his upcoming Earth Magic EP set for release later this month.

Last but not least, RemK took center stage to put on a soaring mix of trap and bass featuring throwback vocals and his own music, new and old. Fresh off a performance at Insomniac‘s Countdown festival, RemK played music from Boombox Cartel, G Jones, Eptic, and more. The mix showed off music from his debut EP On The Coast, like “Daydreaming!” and “Want To.” Of note, RemK also played his new remix of RÜFÜS DU SOL‘s “Innerbloom,” providing a formidable finale to the guest mix.
