BLUUR is back—stream his latest single, ‘No Warning’
2022 Insomniac Discovery Project victor BLUUR is back with “No Warning,” a heady bass house heater that the Los Angelinian calls “the strongest and most intense track I’ve ever released under my brand.” We’d agree. With an authoritative vocal topline that augments the single’s intensity, a shrill alarm sample, and bass-laden breakdowns, “No Warning” is well-positioned to become “the staple of my project,” as BLUUR intends.
The self-release follows the producer’s recent philanthropic event (BLURRED OUT) on March 31 in support of End Overdose, a non-profit organization dedicated to ending drug-related overdose deaths through education, medical intervention, and public awareness. Moving forward, BLUUR hopes to develop BLURRED OUT into a fully-fledged festival and will soon host his annual Twitch livestream for the the charity event.
“No Warning” adds impact to BLUUR’s burgeoning but compelling resume, which not only includes a successful stint at Insomniac’s Discovery Project (for his remix of Reaper’s “IMY”), but also third place in MiTiS’ remix competition for “Try.” BLUUR has also provided support for melodic bass mavens like ARMNHMR and MiTiS, appearing at distinguished Los Angeles venues like Academy LA and the Hollywood Palladium in the process.
