ALEKO makes original debut with ‘GO GO’ on MONTA Records
One of Dancing Astronaut‘s Artist to Watch in 2023 officially has an original on the release board. For ALEKO, “GO GO” represents the culmination of hype surrounding the SoCal native since he arrived on the scene just a few years ago. Known for his energetic live sets, edits, and remixes—like his recently released remix of The Weeknd’s “After Hours“—ALEKO has slowly but surely been making a name for himself in the scene. And now, ALKEO’s first-ever original production has landed via Boombox Cartel‘s upstart record label MONTA, serving as the ultimate coming out party for one of the scene’s most promising names.
“GO GO” has been a staple in ALEKO’s sets for a while now, including a recent appearance at the Brownies & Lemonade-backed MONTA showcase in Los Angeles. And “GO GO” finds a fitting home on Boombox Cartel’s label, who has remained an avid supporter of ALEKO, having played out his remixes of “Euphoria” and the aforementioned “After Hours” to crowds at some of the world’s biggest stages and also giving a co-sign on his Cartel II (Remixes) album in 2022.
ALEKO had already demonstrated his remarkable talent for producing captivating remixes.
