After Tim Berg won Pete Tong’s Fast Trax BBC Radio 1 competition by a landslide vote of 70% in favour in 2008, he had track “ManMan” released on Pete’s imprint Bedroom Bedlam. Quickly launching himself into international limelight, fellow producer Laidback Luke even commented on Avicii on his MySpace saying “[Avicii], by winning this competition, left many contesters behind in their dust. / So a big CONGRATULATIONS to these brilliant DJs for winning the contest and all the luck with their future careers!” Shortly afterwards, Avicii officially signed to At Night Management, and quickly advanced through the levels of notoriety to where is he is today.
