With a strategically planned stream of releases established for 2014, the Bixel Boys are now following up on their April 1st remix of Architecture in Helsinki’s “Might Survive.” In targeting yet another unlikely candidate, Thomas Newson, Ian Macpherson and Rob May make boredom impossible and invigorate the eardrums with their electro-leaning remix of “Don’t Hold Us.” A fusion of vocal chops, rattling bass and snare rolls consistent with the Boys’ previous efforts, the track flawlessly descends into a stabbing electro progression new to the Bixel Boys’ evolving style. “Don’t Hold Us” will be released on Beatport on May 19th and on iTunes and Spotify on June 2nd.
