Disclosure and Lorde collaborating on new music
With a slew of new details having been announced surrounding Disclosure’s sophomore album, Caracal, singer-songwriter Lorde also had some news to share:
“Making tunes and getting Oreo milkshakes with Disclosure,” she tweeted earlier yesterday.
This is not the first time the New Zealand-bred singer has collaborated with the UK pair; in February 2014, the trio performed a once-in-a-lifetime mashup of “Royals” and “White Noise” at the BRIT Awards.
As of now, it is unclear whether the new collaboration will be included on Guy and Howard’s forthcoming album, or on Lorde’s followup to her 2013 debut project Pure Heroine. The British duo, however, have already announced Nao, Lion Babe, Kwab and Gregory Porter to be definite collaborators on their next full-length offering — and it seems as though someone like Lorde may fit right in with that group.
Caracal will be released on September 25 via PMR/Island.
