DA Premiere: Dear David – Hypnotized (Fat Sushi Remix)

One of the newest additions to PRMD Music/ICON’s roster, Dear David‘s latest has already amassed a list of credentials that rival any release of the Stockholm-based producer’s past. Touted by Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1, ‘Hypnotized‘ receives a facelift from Swiss duo Fat Sushi two months after the original was released. A daunting a chugging techno cut, Fat Sushi infuse the original with an unrelenting bassline that is eventually joined by shimmering synths and swift claps. Joining previous remixes on ICONS from Lost Kings, Beckwith, The Rooftop Boys, and Made In Norway among many others, Fat Sushi’s addition to one of dance music’s burgeoning rosters has arrived in the form of a high calibre take on Dear David’s highly-acclaimed original.
